Our childbirth classes are held once monthly, specifically on the second Saturday of each month from 10am to 4pm. Each class is a comprehensive six-hour session that provides in-depth education on all aspects of labor, birth, and immediate postpartum care. This intensive format allows us to cover all essential information in a single day.

Our Infant CPR and Choking Class typically runs for 2-3 hours, allowing sufficient time for both instruction and hands-on practice. We ensure all participants have ample opportunity to practice techniques on infant mannequins and receive personalized feedback from our instructors.

You don't need to bring any special equipment to the class. We provide all necessary training materials, including infant mannequins for practice. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows for movement during the hands-on portions of the class. You may want to bring a notepad for taking notes, though we also provide handouts summarizing key information.

We recommend taking the Infant CPR and Choking Class during your second or early third trimester, when you're still comfortable but close enough to your due date to retain the information. Many families find that between 28-34 weeks is ideal. Partners, grandparents, and other regular caregivers are encouraged to attend as well, as having multiple trained individuals in a household significantly increases infant safety.

If you were transferred to a hospital during labor, we will visit you in the hospital the next day. Once you are discharged, we will provide the rest of your postpartum visits at the birth center.
